The design of residential environments for people with special-needs is a major focus of our firm. We have been privileged to work with clients who are dedicated to creating innovative and inspiring social housing options that promote independence and dignity of life within a safe, secure residential environment.
Covenant House
Covenant House is the main provider of residential and outreach services for the unhoused and at-risk youth population that is growing in Vancouver. To meet the emerging need, Covenant House Vancouver required additional program and shelter space.

The Powell Place expansion and renovation doubled capacity from 26 to 52 beds, and will provide support to more than 300 women every year.

The Budezy Building is one of the twelve City owned sites developed under the Provincial Homelessness Initiative (PHI) in an effort to address homelessness in the City of Vancouver. The project provides a safe supportive environment for women and children in the Downtown Eastside.

Kwayatsut provides housing and support services for unhoused and at-risk youth. The building is also the new home of the Broadway Youth Resource Centre and incorporates elements of Aboriginal culture designed to address life-skills development and foster a sense of purpose and community among residents.
